Shenandoah Valley Reformed Presbyterian Church is a congregation of the Reformed Presbyterian Church General Assembly. We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ, the Head of the Church has made His Word the only rule of faith and obedience, and particularly a rule for the worship and common life of the faithful. Our goal, though not perfected in this life, is to center our faith and worship in His Word, by preaching, reading, singing, and praying in keeping with His Word. This, in turn, serves to equip the saints to glorify and enjoy God forever, which is the chief end, or purpose of man.

We do not offer gimmicks, programs, or empty promises of perfection. Rather, our goal is to bring the whole Word of God to bear upon our lives, ruined by sin, and afflicted by the miseries of this life. We believe that the Spirit of God uses the Word as the principal means of convincing and converting sinners, and of building them up in holiness and comfort.
