Since the church exists for the building up of the body of Christ, to the full stature of a mature man in Christ, the Word of Christ must be given to the people of Christ. It is the goal of this congregation (realized imperfectly) that the “whole counsel of God” shall be preached to the people over the course of several years. As such, our preaching is derived, God helping us, directly from the text of Scripture, opening the meaning of the text, and making legitimate application from the text as to what we are to believe concerning God (“faith”), and what duty God requires of man (“love”), and connecting that text and its meaning to the whole teaching of Scripture.
God willing, our plan is to preach through all books of Scripture over the course of time.
